GE X500 Sample Photos
GE X500 is my first point-and-shoot, which I bought for blogging purposes. The factors I considered in choosing the camera is its 15X optical zoom, the SLR-like body, easy grip, the 16 mega-pixel image sensor, the presets, and the versatile mode dial. I am not that familiar with the technicalities of the gadget so I ask some friends’ advice on adjusting the aperture size and shutter speed of the camera’s manual mode dial. Below are the sample shots I got when I visited Baguio, the City of Pines, last March 18, 2012. You can click on the image to see ... Read more
A Memorable Underwater Adventure at Coron, Palawan
February 25 to 28 when a team of five – me including 4 of my friends and office mates flocked at NAIA 3 to fly to one of Philippines’ premier summer getaways – Coron, Palawan. After touchdown at Busuanga Airport, officially Francisco B. Reyes Airport, we traveled 30 to 45 minutes to get to our accommodation. We then checked in to our hotel and took a tricycle ride to the foot of Mt. Tapyas. We started our adventure with an exasperating hike to the top of the 740-step hill. Atop is the picturesque panorama of the beautifully carved floating massif, the ... Read more

Palaran Festival: The Barangay Bonawon’s Festival
palaran festival logo I finally came home, my 3rd time since I left to study in Manila. It wasn’t easy at first – of course, you will miss the locally cooked dish which I am used to, the unusual scenery, the bizarre corners of the village, the friendly and the unfriendly folks, etc. It was the best time to be home. The first week of April 2011 was the best schedule to pick in the year since it is when we celebrate the annual Feast of Saint Vincent Ferrer. Highlights of the week includes a local beauty pageant which started ... Read more
Lovers by the Sunset
Guess where? You’re right! Manila Bay. I don’t think this is a paparazzi thing. It is not my intention to capture part of their heads and shoulders, its just that, they were on the way of my good sight of the sunset. Photo taken using iTouch’s cracked CP Pro+ App. Lovers by the Sunset
