Baler: A Whole Day of Fun and Adventure

One Monday morning, I suddenly thought of travelling to Baler. I considered going alone but upon thinking of the expenses, I became reluctant. I did some research and presented the itinerary with the corresponding expenses to my office mates. I also included a day side trip to Minalungao National Park in the list of the things to do. Five of them confirmed to join me, while two others promised to follow on the second day. After spending most of our Day 1 in the road and in Minalungao, we headed to Baler by boarding a van in Cabanatuan City. We paid ... Read more

The Four-faced Towers of Angkor Thom’s Bayon Temple

After witnessing the breathtaking view of Angkor Wat’s sunrise and wondering around its bewildering structure, our guide lead us to Angkor Thom. We entered the Angkor Thom complex via the south gopura (or an arched gate), and what welcomed us were stone figures seemingly pulling a log (a scene in a classical movie wherein the soldiers had to pull the big ropes to lift the bridge that leads to the castle). Sadly, most of these statues had been decapitated. Reasons? – Barang, our guide, did not tell us. Roderick, Aaron, and myself in our hired Tuktuk. Photo is taken at ... Read more

Bagasbas and Calaguas Tour: A Not So Ordinary Adventure

I was invited by a travel blogger, Marx of Maxtermind.com, along with select officemates and friends to join him to Calaguas. Of course, I couldn’t resist the temptation and said yes in an instant. Moving my blog from blogger to wordpress was a piece of cake. I use Blogger’s export option to migrate my blog. I save the XML file and converted it to a WordPress readable XML file using an online app. I then uploaded the converted file to WordPress import page and then everything is working well. CloudFlare Keeps Your Website Running When Your Host Server is Down

With all this time, I wasn’t aware of CloudFlare. I was curious as to where a friend’s blog is hosted because I found it loading fast so I checked his who.is records.
