hmmm, did you use the manual mode dial?

if it’s hard for you to tweak the settings, you can use the macro mode and select an angle where the camera automatically focus on your subject and make sure it is well lit.

I sold my x500 6 months ago so I can not provide more details. My apologies.

Nainsprise ako sa mga shots mo ang ganda. I haven’t tried using mine in manual mode palaging auto. Gusto ko na tuloy matuto ng photog 🙂 i love my GE x500 though! Super sulit:) the only thing i dont like is the battery though on the positive side you can easily buy kahit saan double a’s then slap into your camera in case madead bat ka na walang charger na dala 🙂
