We are a group of 16 going to Coron. We want to do a DIY 3-day tour but due to our schedule we can only ask for half-day (1st day), whole-day (2nd day), and half-day (3rd day) tour. 1st day we only arrived 10:40AM and 3rd day we need to transfer hotel in the afternoon. What is your advice for getting the tour? Is it cheaper to just rent a big boat for 16 pax each day and pay all the expenses (food/entrances)? I inquired a tour agent in Coron and they are quoting around PHP3600 per pax for the 3-days including hotel pickup/food/entrances/snacks. The 2nd day is the Island beach tour (malcapuya, banana, bulog dos) while the half-day tours will just go to four main spots around Coron island (Kayangan Lake, Twin Lagoon, Siete Pecados, Barracuda Lake, Beach 91).
