The singer-superstar, queen of pop music, multi-grammy award-winner, and Bodyguard star, Whitney Houston died recently and that is according to the singer’s publicist, Kristen Foster. There is no information released about the cause and the location of her death.

The sad news is trending in twitter worldwide.

Houston, whose career peaked in the middle of the 80’s and 90’s, was a recipient of 415 career awards which includes, two Emmy Awards, six Grammy Awards, 30 Billboard Music Awards, and 22 American Music Awards. Her second self-titled album (“Whitney”) debut at #1 on the Billboard Charts, the first female album to achieve such fame. She has over 200 million albums sold worldwide.

Her famous songs includes; “Saving All My Love for You”, “How Will I Know”, “You Give Good Love”, “The Greatest Love of All” “Where Do Broken Hearts Go”, “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” and many others that topped US Billboard charts.

Houston holds an Honorary Doctorate in Humanities from Grambling State University, Louisiana.
