Reymund Enteria, an OFW based in UK, was chosen to bear the Olympic torch in London. He was assigned at Barking and Dagenham stop, one of the six boroughs to host the Torch relay. The Olympic Flame will come to the said borough on July 22, 2012 as part of its national journey. Kuwaitis rejoice at Mohammad Al Hamad Stadium for their national team had beaten the Philippine Azkals in the first leg of World Cup qualifier. With the final score of 3-0 in favor of Kuwait, it was clearly a tough game for the Philippine Azkals, the game’s underdog. It was apparent that the Kuwaiti National football team is more superior in terms of skills. Compared to Philippine Azkals, they have better defense, brisk passing and ball handling ability. Anyway, the Philippine Azkals have far more way to go.

I am always thinking how much this building painter is paid of. Was his salary enough for him to take this risk? Painting on top of the building with just a rope tied on his waist is not enough to guarantee his safety. Why did the contractors allow this? Why don’t they provide a safer harness?
