Who do you think are insane enough to spend $4.4 Million for the 3 nights stay to an environment that is hostile for human live? I don't think that this is a significant investment, maybe significant for science but no good for business.

And what keeps me confused is, why in 2012? Does this has something to do with the Mayan predictions or something?
It was believed that the company invested $3 Billion for the project which was founded in 2007. To date, they have more than 40 people on the reservation list. Billionaires are now invading space showing only that the earth is no longer enough to hold there wealth. How dare them spend that much while more than a billion are hungry. Anyway, it is still there money, they can spend it on whatever means they wanted.
